Maggie's lyrics This
Land My Spirit were set to music by Tamworth-based musician
& album producer Ross McGregor. The choir of St Joseph’s
Primary School, West Tamworth, contributed their talent to make
this a moving song of reconciliation.
The lyrics of
When The Heavens Show No Mercy were inspired by the droughts experienced
on the western plains of NSW. Lyrics were put to music and recorded
by Tony Taunton, a former Golden Guitar winner. The song won both
the Parkes Music Festival & the Henry Lawson Music Festival of 1998.

The Musical tells the story of the Eureka Stockade of 1854
... viewed by historians as Australia’s major rebellion. The
Eureka rebellion saw the raising of Australia’s first flag
...the Flag of the Southern Cross to unite all the nations represented
on the Ballarat goldfields.
The Musical was staged at Her Majesty’s Theatre Melbourne
in 2004. Eureka! Was nominated for Best Musical in the Robert Helpmann
Awards for Australian Theatre and also nominated for six Green Room
